  • Paddles runs timed online auctions. Each catalogue is live for a set period, with lots closing sequentially at the end of the auction. You can place bids at any time while the auction is open.

  • All bidding takes place online via LiveAuctioneers, using their secure global bidding platform.

  • Anyone with a LiveAuctioneers account can bid. Bidders join from Australia and around the world.

    Featured lots are offered without reserve.
    Other lots may have a reserve, which is removed once bidding reaches that point.

  • Yes. All watches are inspected prior to listing and described honestly. Where possible, movement photos are provided so bidders can assess condition for themselves.

  • Service history is listed where known. Watches are sold as-is, which is standard for auctions. We aim to give you enough information to make a confident decision.

  • Condition varies across lots, as many pieces come from estates and private collections. We aim to describe condition clearly and show key details so bidders can make their own assessment.

  • Absolutely. If you’d like additional photos or details, get in touch at least 48 hours prior to the auction period ending and we’ll do our best to help.

  • Yes. For each auction we offer a short inspection window for local bidders (located in Brisbane, Australia) who prefer to see pieces in person before bidding. Details are listed in the auction description and will be posted to social media.

  • If you’re the highest bidder when the lot closes, you’ll receive an invoice via LiveAuctioneers. Payment is handled through their platform.

  • You’ll only pay one flat-rate shipping fee per auction, regardless of how many lots you win.

  • An 18% buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price of all successful bids.

  • We appreciate that our bidders are worldwide, so we’ve take the guesswork out of postage. No matter how many lots you buy or how much they weigh, you’ll only ever pay one flat-rate postage fee.

    • Australia wide - $9.90 AUD

    • International - $24 AUD

    These flat-rate fees will be automatically added to your invoice.

    International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the price or postage cost. These charges vary by country and are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • No. The auction and lot bid values are conducted on a GST-inclusive basis.

  • Lots are packed and dispatched shortly after the auction concludes and payment is confirmed. Tracking details will be provided once shipped.

  • Yes. Local collection is available following the auction. Collection details will be shared with successful bidders.

    Collection is for customers based in Brisbane, Australia only.

  • No. All sales are final, which is standard for auctions. We encourage bidders to review listings carefully and ask questions before bidding.
